Worth visiting if you want sandy beach access and calm water, but don't expect a peaceful or scenic experience. The lido dominance and boat congestion can be overwhelming, and so the experience may degrade as it goes on.

Rent sun loungers at the back of the beach rather than the front, it's noticeably quieter and you'll avoid the dense cluster of families with small children.

Common mistakes

Visiting on Sunday during peak hours (go late afternoon instead) and expecting an open sea view, boats pack the bay so densely you won't see much horizon. By the afternoon the sand is well trodden, so it is at its freshest earlier in the day.
