Meet Mark & Roxanne.

Two Maltese who never get tired of telling visitors where to eat, swim, and wander.

We were both born and raised in Malta, and we still live here. We are also travellers ourselves: we have done the solo trips, the couple trips, the family holidays with kids in tow, and the big group weekends. Each one needs a different kind of plan, and we have felt every version of that planning headache first-hand.

At home, we are the friends people message before a Malta trip. Which beach works on a windy day, where to actually eat in Marsaxlokk, whether the Blue Lagoon is worth it in August. We never get tired of answering; sharing the places we love is half the fun of living here. Xemxi is that answer written down properly, and built into a planner so it can adapt to your trip instead of ours.

If you are thinking about visiting Malta, we would genuinely love to help.

What Xemxi actually is

A planning engine wrapped around local knowledge. The engine sequences your days by geography, opening hours, and pace; the knowledge underneath it is ours: which bays turn rough in a Grigal wind, which months each beach gets packed, which restaurants we would send our own friends to.

  • Honest verdicts. We say which beaches we would skip, not just which ones photograph well.
  • Verified facts. Event dates are checked against official sources on a monthly cycle; wind and crowd data is recorded per beach, per month.
  • No pay-to-rank. Nobody pays to appear in a plan. If a place is in your itinerary, it is because we rate it.

Questions about a trip, a correction to something we wrote, or a place you think we should know about: support@xemxi.com. We read everything.

Let us plan your Malta trip.

Tell Xemxi who is travelling and when, and it builds a day-by-day itinerary from the same local knowledge we give our friends.
